About BruceUnfiltered
Bruce is the independent UK political commentator and content creator behind BruceUnfiltered.
He began creating content in late 2021 after becoming increasingly frustrated with rising energy costs, political dishonesty, and the widening gap between what people are told and what government policy actually does.
His interest in politics began much earlier, around 2010, after thirteen years of Labour government and what he saw as the start of a slow political, cultural and institutional decline across the UK.
What started as short explanatory videos quickly became something bigger: a platform focused on government power, civil liberties, digital control, media narratives, legislation, and long-term policy trends that rarely get explained in plain English.
BruceUnfiltered is not built around party loyalty.
It is built around evidence, primary sources, incentives, systems, and consequences.
Too much political content is now either performative, tribal, or deliberately confusing. BruceUnfiltered exists for people who know something is wrong, but are tired of being talked down to, misled, or fed slogans instead of explanations.
The aim is simple: to explain how Britain is really governed, why decisions are made, who benefits, and what the consequences are for ordinary people.
The tone is direct, conversational, and evidence-led.
Anger has its place, but only when the facts justify it.
Not for clicks. Not for performance.
If something matters, it is explained plainly.
If something is broken, it is called out.
