Politics for People Who Don’t Give a Toss
About Politics

A plain-English look at how politics really works for ordinary people
who are tired of the spin, the jargon, and being talked down to.

What the Book Is About

This book breaks politics down into plain English. No Westminster theatre, no media spin, and no jargon designed to keep normal people at arm’s length. It is about power, incentives, institutions, and why ordinary people so often end up paying for decisions they never really had a say in.

Why I Wrote It

I wrote this because too many people know something is wrong, but get blocked out by the language around politics. Everything is wrapped in slogans, tribal nonsense, or deliberately confusing wording. The result is that normal people are pushed away from decisions that shape their lives. This book is an attempt to strip all that back.

Who It’s For

This book is for people who want politics explained clearly without jargon, spin, or being talked down to. It is for readers who care about how the country is run, but are tired of party-script nonsense and media theatre.
